Vehicle Diagnostics Test

Modern vehicles rely on complex electronic systems, and when something goes wrong, it’s not always obvious what the issue is. Here at Watling Tyres, our trained technicians can carry out comprehensive vehicle diagnostics tests to identify faults across your engine, electronics, sensors and onboard computer systems.

Whether you have noticed a warning light on your dashboard, your vehicle is not running as smoothly as normal, or you simply want peace of mind, our diagnostics helps pinpoint the problem fast – saving you time, stress and unnecessary repair costs.

If your vehicle needs a diagnostics check, contact our team and we can get you booked in at one of our garages. The following branches provide full diagnostics testing:

Sensor faults
Electrical issues

Once we have identified the issue, we will explain the results to you clearly, and recommend the most cost‑effective next steps.

More Than Just Diagnostics

It’s not just diagnostics and tyres – we also provide car servicing, MOTs, brakes, exhausts, wheel alignment, and more. Whatever your vehicle needs, we are here to keep you safe and moving.

I've been going here for tyres (and occasionally brake replacement) for 20 years. Staff are absolutely LOVELY, the work they have done on my car has always been impeccable. I've no idea if prices are good as I've never been anywhere else & don't intend to.

Very good service. Very quick, friendly and knowledgeable guys. I went there to replace a tire on my moped but was told and shown that I had zero front breaks left. They fixed both the wheel and the breaks in about 45 minutes. Price was reasonable. I was still on time for my next appointment. 5 stars!

Absolutely excellent. We've been coming to Watling for car, motorbike and van tyres for at least 10 years, and they have always been exceptional. The service is friendly and quick, the range of tyres available is broad and they really know their stuff, if you're on a motorbike and you're looking for some new rubber you can bet these guys will have a selection and will be able to recommend something to get just what your after from your motorbike, two thumbs up

Great place for tyre and service for your bike and car. Having been a fan of specialist bike shops for years I visited Watling for an MOT on a bike two years ago. Now I can honestly say that I would not go anywhere else with general mechanical issues with my bikes or car. Staff is very friendly, honest and competent, service prices are reasonable and albeit bike rubber prices are a bit on the high side, you can bring your own and get them fitted if you are so inclined. Highly recommend this place.

Contrary to the other reviews here, my experience has been good. I was able to chat at the Excel Bike show about a variety of tyres and a deal was done with top prices and fitting as part of the deal on my Harley. On arrival I was able to see all the work done on the bike, was consulted over a couple of things before they did anything and care was taken while carrying out the work. My thanks go to Andy and his team for a positive experience which was the opposite of the other reviews. They also served several other bikers at the same time who seemed happy too.
